According to AAA research, of all the people who bought fresh-cut Christmas Trees in the last several years, over 20 million Americans did not properly secure it. Here are a few tips:
Be sure the tree is wrapped in netting.
Use quality tie-downs such as rope or nylon ratchet straps.
Point the bottom of the trunk towards the front of your vehicle. This allows air to move over the branches smoothly.
Give the tree several good “tugs” to make sure it is secure.
